Yesterday, I was allowed to go to OB and pack up our classroom. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. It is hard when you don't have closure and an ending to such a wonderful year! I packed up all your child's things. Dr. Taggert will contact you when you will be able to pick up your child's belongings. Please be sure to pick them up because it is a portfolio of your child's first year at OB and it shows you how much they have grown.
Miss Layton has more spots open today if your child would like to meet with her. She can read 1 on 1, practice sight words and/or math facts! Click here to sign up for a time slot.
I've updated RazKids accounts to different sets of books based on the reading I have done with your child. Please have your child read on RazKids! It is the best resource we have for student's practicing reading at their level and helping to advance them.

Today are our small group zooms! Please join me at your time if you can. If you can't join or your child is zoomed out, I understand. I just want to offer the opportunity for child to see me as much as possible for those who need it and like having that face to face time with their teacher.
Whole class Zooms are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 (except today's is at 1:30.) Our class code is 218-083-2687 and the password is kgzoom. Small group zooms are Thursday.

Because we can't have the Scholastic Book Fair in the library this spring, we're going to host an online book fair instead! Starting on Monday, April 20, you can order books online. All orders will be shipped directly to your home and book orders of $25 or more ship for free! Our library will receive a percentage of all sales which we'll use to buy books for the library next year. This is a great opportunity to get books into the hands of your kids and raise money for our library--it's a win-win!
