My teaching experience is broad. I started my teaching career as a 4th grade teacher for four years in Louisiana. While there, I also spent two years as a technology trainer for Promethean, an interactive whiteboard company. My family moved back to St. Louis in July where I was fortunate to be offered a teaching assistant job, which led to a Kindergarten maternity leave at Reed School in Ladue School District as well. Then, for two years I taught 1st-3rd grade science and social studies at Rossman School. I am so thankful to be in my 7th year teaching Kindergarten at Old Bonhomme School.
At home, I am a mother of twin 10-year old boys and a 5 year old girl. I spend most my time outside of school playing with my children and doing family oriented activities.
I want this year to be a year of open communication. I will keep you informed of what we are doing in the classroom along with how your child is doing. A weekly update will be sent via this blog each week on Friday or Saturday. Please know you can contact me via email or at school anytime. I will respond to you as soon as I can.
