4/15 Virtual Learning

New News!
KG Parents, we need your help in filling out this short survey to know what is working for you, and what is not. This is a a survey that goes to our principals and myself, so it is important we receive your feedback so we can improve for the next six weeks of distance learning. We greatly appreciate you letting us know how things are going since this is our first time doing it and we want to meet our student's needs.

There is a different survey coming from the district that you may have received yesterday. This is going to the superintendents, so please feel free to voice your opinions there as well. Please remember the activities planned are designed by our Curriculum and Instruction Team, therefore if you have concerns about the work please address it on the district survey.

Also, the Old Bonhomme Parade will be on April 27th at 1:00. We will drive through Olivette in hopes to see as many students as possible. We will provide more information as the date gets closer as far as route and safety precautions.

Daily Morning Message:
Here is today's morning message for your child to watch!

Virtual Lesson Plans:
Here are this week's virtual learning plans.

Social Studies:
Thank you for submitting your primary source for the time capsule. If you haven't, please try as this is going to resurface when they are seniors in high school to remind them of this time in their lives that will be in their "virtual textbooks." Here is the link to the time capsule project.

Zoom News:
Our class Zoom calls will be on Thursday at 11:00am this week. The password is kgzoom. I sent out invites to your emails.

Here is the link for 1&1 calls to sign up for. I have changed the dates and times a bit. I need the mornings to be "teacher" for my own children.  :)

Math News:
It is so great to see everyone on SplashLearn! Please login to www.splashlearn.com for 10-15 minutes a day. Our class code UUXPBA and the student passwords are their first name.

Math packets can be picked up at Old Bonhomme from 10:30-12:30 each day. You just drive through and ask for your grade level! It is very simple and helpful! I did this for my own children.

Flipgrid News:
It is Mrs. Mares birthday today! Send her birthday greetings. Shhh, its a surprise and I will show her later today! Here is our Flipgrid challenge page.

Here is a video to learn how to use Flipgrid. I am looking for all KG friends to share. It is great fun and another wonderful way to connect with classmates and teachers!
