4/16 Virtual Learning

New News!
We need your help in filling out this short survey to know what is working for you, and what is not. This information goes to Dr. Taggert and myself. We need your input to improve for the next six weeks of virtual learning. There is another survey that came on Wednesday from the curriculum team, so please feel free to give them feedback as they are deciding the content we send you each week to maintain consistency across the district.

Also, the Old Bonhomme Parade will be on April 27th at 1:00. We will drive through Olivette in hopes to see as many students as possible. Here is the map and details of the parade. We are SO excited to see you!

Daily Morning Message:
Here is today's morning message for your child to watch!

Virtual Lesson Plans:
Here are this week's virtual learning plans.

Social Studies:
Thank you for submitting your primary source for the time capsule. If you haven't, please try as this is going to resurface when they are seniors in high school to remind them of this time in their lives that will be in their "virtual textbooks." Here is the link to the time capsule project.

Zoom News:
Today is our KG Zoom Meeting at 11:00! Click here to enter. The password is kgzoom. I sent out invites to your emails. Next week, we will zoom on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as a class at 11:00.

Here is the link for 1&1 calls to sign up. I have changed the dates and times a bit. I need the mornings to be "teacher" for my own children.  :)

Next week, we will use a different form of sign ups. We are trying a google form instead. Your child can sign up for a meeting with me or our teacher assistant, Miss Layton. We will both have your child read a book on RazKids on their level. Click here to sign up. Simply type in your name. Be sure to record on your end so you remember! We will also send calendar invites.

Math News:
It is so great to see everyone on SplashLearn! Please login to www.splashlearn.com for 10-15 minutes a day. Our class code UUXPBA and the student passwords are their first name.

Math packets can be picked up at Old Bonhomme from 10:30-12:30 each day. You just drive through and ask for your grade level! It is very simple and helpful! I did this for my own children.

Flipgrid News:
Yesterday's assignment in social studies was to interview a family member and ask them questions to learn more about what things were like when they were your age. Share with us what you learned! Here is our Flipgrid challenge page.

Here is a video to learn how to use Flipgrid. I am hoping for all KG friends to share! It is great fun and another wonderful way to connect with classmates and OB teachers!
