Career Presentation

We had an exciting visitor today! Farah's mom, Shabbana, came in to teach us all about her job as a microbiologist. Students did an experiment on spreading germs using sprinkles. Half of the class had sprinkles in their hands and then shook hands and high fived with the others and looked at their hands to see how many of the sprinkles transferred to their hands. Students also tried on safety gloves and filled test tubes with colored water to pretend they were scientist working in the lab.
