About Mrs. McGee

Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Caroline McGee, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. The transition to Old Bonhomme is such a special milestone, and I am honored to be part of it. Throughout the year, your child will experience incredible growth, and I will be right alongside them every step of the way—tailoring support to their individual needs to ensure they thrive.

Teaching is my passion, and my career spans a variety of enriching experiences. I began teaching 4th grade in Louisiana for four years, where I also spent two years as an educational technology trainer for Promethean. After moving back home to St. Louis, I joined the Ladue School District, serving as a teaching assistant and completing a Kindergarten maternity leave at Reed Elementary. I then spent two years teaching 1st through 3rd grade science and social studies at Rossman School. Now, I am deeply grateful to be in my 11th year at Old Bonhomme and excited to step into my very first year teaching Pre-K!

Outside of the classroom, I am a proud mom to 14-year-old twin boys and a 9-year-old daughter. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me outdoors playing and spending quality time with my family.

Partnering with you is a priority for me, and I believe open communication is key to a successful year. I will keep you updated on our classroom adventures and your child's individual progress through weekly blog posts sent every Friday or Saturday. Please feel free to reach out via email or phone anytime with questions or thoughts—I will always respond as promptly as possible.

We are going to have an unforgettable, joy-filled year in Pre-K!

Warmly,

Mrs. McGee
